OGIO International Ruck 20 Laptop Backpack

> 3 dayAt first I was disappointed because it looked too big. Im 53 and I thought it looked the size of a real overnight backpack. Its very slender and yet can hold my 13 laptop inside a protective case in the laptop pouch. I stashed 2 notebooks and a paper calendar in the second pouch. My office keys, house keys, and lanyard in outside zip pouch. Wallet, cell phone, pens, and eye glass case in larger zippered area. It looks as professional as a backpack can look without being leather. And much lighter in weight than leather. Very pleased so far (after 2 days of use).

Greater than one weekI wanted a rucksack for work that was smart, did not look like a sports bag, had some compartment organization but flexible use. The Ogio Ruck20 is perfect! Well made, simple, great materials (love the scarlet red lining) and comfortable to wear. I can carry personal items, wallet, phone etc, a laptop, ipad, some files & lunch but isnt too big or bulky. I have had many compliments on this new bag from others. Looks good and does a great job. Would reccomend.

> 3 dayIts ok. It suits my needs. Its slim and light and carries a lot. I can fit an 18 inch laptop in it with no problems and still have some room to spare for notebooks and my lunch. While I like the way it looks, Im not totally pleased with the way that the bag closes/folds. The picture looks great with a great shape, but thats assuming that its perfectly filled, otherwise, if youre like me, most stuff sits on the bottom of the bag, and its shaped more like a folded over brown lunch bag. If youre a stickler for straight lines (like I am), itll bother you a bit. Additionally, I find the top handle/strap difficult to grab/find and a bit flimsy. The shoulder straps are narrow and thin, and dont make carrying the bag particularly comfortable. All-in-all, its a good bag. Not great. For the price (under $50), Id probably buy it again, but Id definitely hesitate and see what else is on the market.

> 3 dayPretty nice bag. Found it on clearance at a local store and was in need of a new bag for work. I carry a dewalt impact, a small cooler bag for my food, headphones, a few ziplock bags with food, gloves, extra shirt, keys, wallet, a water bottle and a few other things and they all fit great with room to spare. The bag is also really sturdy.

Greater than one weekGreat college backpack. Perfect size, lightweight but durable, seems sturdy. This is his 2nd ‘Ogio’. 1st one lasted 3yrs (high school) but too big now. The ‘Axle’ has room for 15 or 17inch. computer & iPad…which opens & slips in/out easily w/Velcro or strap to keep secure. Ample padding but not too much. Plenty of space for books/gym clothes & a nice pouch on top for glasses/wallet or AirPods. Plus has normal ‘water bottle’ holders on side. 1st bought ‘Renegade’ & returned (not enough storage, no real water bottle holders, hard to fit computer) but Rock solid, like meant for army. My son preferred the Axel’ for college. Not too bulky.

> 3 dayLove this bag for work stuff. Been hauling my laptop and lunches, and whatever else needs to go with on a day to day basis. Great for out of town work as well. Lots of room for office related outings!

> 3 dayI had been looking around for a small sized backpack that I could use as my day-to-day bag for college when I came across the Covert. It seemed to be what I was after, though there was not quite the level of detail I wanted to confirm that it could actually hold the bare essentials I needed. Seeing as it was in many ways the best, I took the plunge and ordered it several months ago. I will first say what I was hoping someone would mention: Yes, this backpack can hold a decent amount of notebooks and files, as well as a thin laptop (think Macbook air or ultrabook thickness). The pictures do it more justice than I can write here. The photos show the bag as fully loaded as I can, without it bulging awkwardly out. It has four Moleskine Cahier X-Large notebooks, a softcover 400 page textbook (thin pages), a Mead plastic file with around 80 pages of an engineering pad, an iPad mini, standard pens and calculator etc, and a Macbook Air. One of the images shows the bag with the aforementioned items, but placed inside a Northface Jester II backpack, to illustrate the massive size difference. It can comfortably hold around 5 thin notebooks as a maximum, with a Macbook Air in the sleeve. For another reference, without a laptop, I managed to fit a three semester calculus book and its softcover solution manual within the pack, which pushed it to its extreme holding capacity. If you are inclined to carry any more than a single textbook, or more than a few notebooks or files, this might not be the best pack, but if most of your work is done on a (thin) laptop, with maybe some files and notebooks for class notes, this is the perfect lightweight backpack. Also, note that the bag is very rectangular, so anything that is not will fit poorly. Sweatshirts, lunch bags, and so on are not really something you can use with this, unless they are the only thing you put in it. This is also a poor fit if youd like to carry mass market paperbacks around (due to the thickness constraint). I have been using it almost daily both for class, and now for an internship, and it has held up without any visible wear. It is apparent that Ogio cheaped out on the zipper pulls, making them out of plastic that would definitely break if you yanked on them, but as long as you are conscious of their fallibility they should hold up. I have not had any issues with them so far. For the select few who can rely more on digital than paper, but still need to takes notes and have some scratch paper, I would highly recommend this backpack.

> 3 dayLove this bag. So much room. Built really well. Except the plastic hook in the front compartment. It broke the first time I tried to put something in it. Other than that, great bag.
