Nice, simple smart plug that works with Tuyu, but theres no toggle option to use with routines, which is disappointing.

I wanted to voice control my bedroom lamps at night and this was the perfect solution. I had a smart outlet already installed in my bedroom and it was more expensive and required an electrician to install and not all my outlets where compatible as far as wiring goes. This was an easy inexpensive route that was quick. I literally pulled it out the box plugged it in then plugged in my lamp pressed the button on the side to pair it to the app then to Alexa I was voice controlling my lights within 10 min or less.

I like that I was able to buy 4 at once cause you never know until your using them, that you could use another one. They are small and easy to connect to. I can do without the ads in the app but a small dislike at most. I don’t have Alexa to connect to them, but I think it’s value in itself that is worth the money.

These plugs were super easy to set up. They were bought for lamps in tight corners, got tired of the reach and stretch in one room and squeezing past a piano in another. Its a simple joy, but a joy nonetheless to just tell Alexa to operate the lamps. They are also much more discreet in appearance than one Id previously purchased for a friend. The small price tag for a package of four plugs was a pleasant bonus as well. These are a great convenience, but would be especially helpful for anyone who may need light before they enter an area, anyone with mobility issues, etc.

It still won’t connect to be able to use from phone or Alexa. Bought this hoping to make life simpler but still having issues with it but hoping it’s easier for others

I had so much trouble installing these things!! The instructions are lacking info. They were really finicky. The app is terrible!! Its such a crowded mess of advertisements and if Im away from my home wifi, the app will tell me that lights are on when theyre not, and that they are off when theyre actually on. This created a massive problem when I went out of town for 8 days. I was completely unable to tell if my lights were on when they needed to be. This is a huge issue because 3 are grow lights for plants and 1 is a really important light for a reptile. I absolutely NEED them to work properly. Customer service was great at getting back to me, but mostly tried to tell me that I had the wrong time zone set over and over and over. I did not. It was set correctly and I was still in the same time zone when I traveled. While Im at home, they work just fine. Edited to add: They do not work fine while Im at home either, it turns out. Days after posting this review, the plug I use for my reptile light stopped working properly. It is no longer turning on & off when its supposed to, completely out of nowhere. I didnt change anything, its just random.
