i love that this doesnt require wifi. the night vision works great and the monitor goes at great lengths before cutting out. the battery life is impressive as well

Why monitor cats? We have several that are getting pretty old. Some have to be separated because of behavior or health issues. This gives me another option for watching them at critical times. It is easier at times than actually standing nearby as they will want me to let them out and the remote monitoring reduces that stress. I could also see a use for an elderly invalid if you have that situation. I expect it makes a good baby monitor for the same reasons.

Nice to have when you have a napping baby in another room.

I set this up immediately in my kids room and I let it do its thing. It automatically detected the camera. I was able to be go downstairs and traverse the the rest of the house with no disconnect. Every now and then it did go to sleep. I dont know how or why but it hasnt done it again yet. The large screen does a good job of displaying the 720p image. Theres a very small delay but not much to be alarmed if you saw something its happening as you see it. Its a breath of fresh air to see a 2.4ghs instead of a wifi which boast HD images and has delays. This you see what is happening and in a decent quality. The battery I charged for a full day before I first used it and has lasted 2 and a half evenings without a charge. This is definitely a hidden gem.

I wanted something in the nursery that would allow me a piece of mind. This was easy to set up and start using. I feel like the picture quality is great for this small camera. I am able to see everything and feel at peace. The battery life is also great on it.

High quality image, great sound, and easy to set up with no wifi needed.

Great for first time parents or any parent with an infant. You dont have to keep waking up and going into your baby room to check on them. You can watch your child from the monitor. If you are in the kitchen and they are in the livingroom, you can set the monitor up in there and watch them while you are cooking. Even if you want to take a quick bath or shower while they are sleeping. You can do all of this with less stress by watching your child. The picture is clear and the sound is clear.

The hd quality is great on this monitor and it can be propped up to show almost all of the nursery. Great clarity on the camera as well.

I’m not going through any walls it’s a straight shot down my middle hallway from where I have this camera in the living room to where I am looking at it in the bedroom. And I’m still not getting that great reception. Now I was initially really impressed with the quality of this camera. I love having a screen and I don’t have to get out my phone and use an app and the picture quality is surprisingly good. I mean this is better than your average bear camera higher and better than your average monitor I was quite impressed when I was initially setting it up. But my elation was short-lived as I didn’t have to get very far away before the reception started to dwindle. The listing says 980 feet and I just really had to chuckle because I can’t even get it to work 30 feet down a clear hallway with no walls intervening. I don’t know if maybe I have too many other wireless devices in the house interfering or I got a bad unit or it just doesn’t work well but for now this is been my experience. This thing works like a walkie-talkie you don’t have to set it up to Wi-Fi so maybe it would’ve worked better as a Wi-Fi camera that way you can use your home router to make sure that you get good signal coverage. But because it’s very portable I am going to take it to a friends house this weekend that has a much more quiet radio frequency footprint and see what kind of performance I get there. Maybe I just have too much wireless stuff going on in my house. The battery life seems good and the screen is great. You have all of the controls and two-way audio right at your fingertips so I’m really hoping I can get this thing to work.
