Switched from the bulky intrusive Norton Security product which keeps on insisting to use its search engine and password protection extensions in every compatible browser. This McAfee AV product is a refreshing change as it is non-intrusive and works well quietly in the background. It is also economical as it covers up to 10 devices for a year of protection.

Honestly, I have seen many different brands of security software that say they protect you, but in regards does not do enough to make sure your safeguarded and protected while you are online. But it isnt in regards to the software, it is in regards to problems that can also plague your computer by not being updated, or can cause you to use up your entire hard drive because of consistent updates. I have used many different brands that have worked, and ones that have stopped delivering within time. Unfortunately, McAfee is one of those brands that has stopped delivering with the best they claimed to. Their latest 10-device Antivirus plus, does try and focus in on the basics, getting rid of spyware and Trojans that can hamper your computer. But at the end, because of the constant updating, you actually do lose more open space to place your files that you download online from music and media. Also, with only 1-years worth, it doesnt give you as much breathing room in the long run. Unless you operate a small business, I would recommend you pass this up, and get a security software that can work for you in the longer run, like Vipre or BitDefender. I am very pleased with McAfee Antivirus Protection Plus 2021. It provides sound protection and we have installed it on several of our PCs. It is fairly easy to install but you do have to remove any existing anti-virus software you may have on your machine before installing McAfees software. We had been using Norton Antivirus but they wanted to use their auto-renewal process to increase our annual cost from $25 to $124.99. Ultimately, I had to change my credit card account number to avoid Nortons auto-renewal charges (even after I asked them to remove my auto-renewal). McAfee does not require a credit card and cannot abuse your trust with a crazy auto-renewal.
