OLFA 12 1/2 x 12 1/2 Frosted Acrylic Ruler (QR-9S) - Non Slip Square 12.5x12.5 Inch Acrylic Ruler with Grid for Cutting Fabric, Sewing, Quilting, & Crafts

The ruler has less slip than others, and doesnt need extra stickies on the underside. Very easy to read through, and the markings are easy to see. However, I had assumed the frosted part would be on the top, since I was looking for a ruler that would not reflect the glare of the overhead lights in my sewing room. The frosted part is on the underside, and there is just about the same amount of glare as with the nonfrosted ones. I actually use it upside down, and will continue to look for a manufacturer that makes exactly what I want.

This ruler works fine for piecing quilts

I use this ruler for quilting. I can actually see the lines and Marks that I need to for cutting my fabric, really like the frosted look

Had a different brand but it had too many distracting things on it. Love this one.

I dont quilt, but I do use this sometimes for other things. Its a decent size. Its sturdy and seems tb accurate.

Love Olfa rulers! They are the easiest to read regardless of the fabric.

This is very handy and I dont know how I got along without it. It also grips the fabric pretty well, so cuts are more accurate. I had been making my own cardboard templates, but they were not good as you cant see the fabric through them. This solved all my problems! Kathy Robbins
