Ive had this stand for several weeks now. Ive used it in two different locations and liked it for both applications. First I had it on an end table in our living room that often collects devices to recharge. My laptop was no longer constantly buried under tablets! Second, I moved it to my office to help alleviate space on my cramped work from home setup. I store notebooks etc needed in the space below while I can leave my laptop open above for a third monitor that is at a good height to go along with my other two monitors. Im not a fan of typing on it but I never had that intent for it. You can and I have done it in smaller amounts but I wanted it more for space issues.

The weight of the lap stand is very light and it is very easy to assemble!
