First off, this isnt light weight. A vertical stand shouldnt be light weight because the lighter it is the less stable it would be unless you want to sacrifice how much area it takes up. Second...because people will ask...it will work with any laptop. Not just MacBooks.

I have now purchased two of these. They are sturdy and heavy duty and will hold my dell docking station which is heavy and with the wires being attached to it’s awkward. Between the docking station and my laptop it took a huge part of my desk. With this laptop stand I use it for my docking station, and it keeps my docking station from flopping all over the place. Definitely recommend especially since you can adjust it for the size of your laptop or docking station and it’s very sturdy.

Lots of products doing the same job but I chose this one. The design is simple, minimalist but effective. My Mac book pro sits in it securely. Just love the way its freed up space on my desk. I would highly recommend this product.

I dont use my laptop everyday so this is a nice way to keep it from using too much desk space.
