Worked great on some older bolts I needed for a project. Had to team the nuts also and both parts did the job. Using a little cutting oil makes it work better.

Ive only used it once to clean up damaged threads on my trailer hitch stabilizer and the 1/2 bolt. It performed superbly. A great addition to my workbench.

These taps act like a reaming tool instead of tapping. I tried taping three holes and out of the three, only one actually taped and with poor-quality threads. All the taps are bowed and wont cut straight threads. I had to fill weld all the holes, redrill and tap each one. These are not worth the headache created or loss of time, spend your money on a good set and save yourself headache and time.

The material is not worth it and he’s not good very weak

This tap and die set is perfect for the DIYer who needs to occasionally thread a hole or clean the threads from a bolt. Made for light use, but is accurate and complete.

This product was nicely packaged. Tap and die set fits nicely into the case. I have had no problems with is set while using them but upon opening it for the first time I did notice a die nut with a small defect. Nothing crazy just a small nick on the top. But the die is still useable and the etching is still readable. Definitely worth it for the price. if I had to I would but it again.
