Greater than one weekIve been aware of super floss for decades but never really bought any. Id say the design of this is as marginal as it could be. The expandable portion really isnt that expandable, and that part is really short. The rest of the piece is rough floss. Really, overall, a design thats poorly executed.

Greater than one weekGreat concept. Was hoping to use it on a tight joint. It is strong but too thick for tight spaces. For normal spaces it works nicely.

Greater than one weekIs not a bad product, but I don’t think I’ll buy it again. It does its job but the floss feels so hard between the teeth and kind of painful :( but this is just my experience. Either way, it cleans well.

> 3 dayProduct was as described but I found it difficult to use with my new braces. They are also not individually wrapped which is not a big deal for me, it was the difficulty in use that was a problem.

Greater than one weekI have two bridges (one with a pair of anchor teeth at one end), and have used Super Floss for several years. I have problems threading them between the pair of anchor teeth; those are very tight at the base, and if there is the slightest swelling of the gums then it is impossible to thread the floss through. For the rest of that bridge, though, and the other bridge, there is no problem at all. You do need to use the short end to thread it through; the long end is just regular, limp dental floss. In between is the special area, fluffy to clean out under bridges efficiently. The object is not to scour the underside of the bridge, Im told, but to remove the loose debris that collects there between brushing. Just insert it under the bridge, and slide it back and forth a couple of times from one end of the bridge to the other. I cannot comment on the effectiveness of the regular floss, as I cant use it. My mouth is too small to let me get my fingers to the back to floss the back teeth. So I use - and heartily recommend - the Reach Flosser. It has a head set crosswise to the handle, so the handle can reach to the backmost part of the mouth. Im attaching an image of it from the Amazon product page.

> 3 dayEvery package includes 50 precut strands, which are pretty long, actually longer than Gums old one I used to buy. They have a minty flavor which is fine. But the strands arent organize in any order to get them out one by one, so you have to open and close the whole package every time you want one strand. And finally it has a major flaw: only one of the ends is stiffened, so if the strand cuts in between, you get only which can work with braces, because the unstiffened end becomes a regular floss, which hardly will pass trough braces. So i will discount one star for that flaw.

> 3 dayI have had the loops where the regular floss threads into the loop. This product is far easier, faster to use. Also the thickness of the part of the floss that cleans the area works far, far better than regular floss. It is thicker and softer on the gums being cleaned. However the 4 star rating is because some of the floss has an end that is uneven and must be cut just a little so that the end is even and goes into the area much better. Not a big deal occasionally but I have had full boxes that had this issue. Not worth a complaint to the company but it is inconvenient.

Greater than one weekI would have given it 5 stars but lately Ive received some that are tangled in the box & they get stuck when you pull each one out. It can be a little frustrating
