Greater than one weekMy dentist used to complain that I was popping my floss when I was inserting it between my teeth. This is because my teeth are very close together, and inserting regular floss was difficult at best. The popping of the former floss would cause gum irritation that is eliminated with the Glide. Sometimes, with regular floss, it would actually break or shred! No so with the Glide line of floss. This stuff makes flossing so much easier for me. I like the pick style, as I have large hands that make wrapping regular floss around my fingers uncomfortable and unwieldy. I also like that you can tighten the string by pinching the handle, so you can control the tension before and after inserting between the teeth. This helps to conform to the shape of the tooth. There is an actual flat toothpick on the opposite end. Ive never been a person that uses toothpicks (wooden, or otherwise), so I cant really advise on its usefulness.

> 3 dayThey stop selling these at my local grocery stores and purchased them on Amazon and these are my favorite flossers because they are so use to use and floss your teeth with. Would recommend

> 3 dayEasy to use, especially reaching the back teeth. Fits great in closely space teeth without shredding and popping. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayGreat product can floss all my teeth without snapping the thread. The angle of the floss makes it easy to reach teeth without having to open mouth super wide to avoid cheeks.

> 3 dayDue to loss of motion in my fingers and hand, I cant use regular floss very well. However, I found these floss picks easier to use and they do a decent job. Occasionally the floss will break, hence the 4 stars for sturdiness.

> 3 dayIve tried the floss picks that are flat. Tried the ones that go on the end of a handle. They hurt my gums and are hard to use. These flossers have a thicker thread than the razor thin thread on the other flossers. These I can use without causing pain to my gums and my hands can hold on to them.

> 3 dayThese flossers are stupidly expensive, but worth it for your gum health. The flat floss can help you really get under your gum line and in between tight teeth. I happened to buy these one time because I couldnt get the other, cheaper kind (DenTek) that has round floss instead of flat. My gums were extremely sore initially for a good two weeks, and then my gums got used to them. I can feel the difference when flossing with these. Ive since tried using a DenTek flosser and know I cant go back now. The floss does have an occasional tendency to break off from where its attached to the plastic arms, thus the 3 stars for sturdiness. Happens less often than it doesnt, but its still annoying to have to use another flosser to finish the job, especially when theyre so expensive.
