> 24 hourFor now, I can only provide a review on the shipping on these bags since I have not used them yet. This is because I ordered the actual vacuum cleaner from another company and I am awaiting its arrival. I ordered the vacuum cleaner before I ordered these bags from this seller here on Amazon and I received the bags first. They showed up at my home SUPER FAST. I will try to leave another review on the bags once I get to use them, but for now, this seller is A+ in my book. I ordered them this past Friday (8/27/2012) and received them Monday (8/30/2012) and I didnt pay extra shipping costs. A+

> 24 hourWell, I suppose they work well in the newer vacuum versions. The hole on the bag connection is square. Therefore, your older handheld vac’s round pipe connection has to go inside square hole. That leaves enormous gaps around the square hole of the bag. It works fine until you need to replace the bag, where you find tons and tons of dirt in the trap that has escaped the bag. All handheld vacs are listed as compatible, both old and new models. Oreck claims their esteemed engineers promise the round peg into the square hole works well and as designed. So, the design is to make a mess when replacing the bags. Cool.

> 24 hourVery pleased with these bags for my small Oreck vacuum. They look to be genuine Oreck bags as indicated in the product information. They are the thick allergen capturing style bags. The local vacuum shop sells this same package of bags for about $30. Very pleased - will buy again!

> 24 hourWhat can you say, it’s an Oreck bag for the Compact Canister vacuum. Easy to install and that’s about it. Whole design of the Compact Canister unit was not thought out well at all. Works great when you first put in the bag, and if you are sucking up small hard objects like spilt split peas or dry cat food. If you are using it to vacuum dust off lamp shades, fireplace mantles or dust bunnies under the front of a cabinet the bags clog up incredibly fast. You pull out the bag and it’s only 20% full but the suction has gone down by 60% or more. Bags should have been pleated like air filters to have a large surface area. Oreck company filed for bankruptcy in May 2022 and the Oreck family who sold the business back on 2003 tried to buy it back for much less than they sold it for. Oreck products were good but overpriced years ago, now parts are getting hard to find. Local Oreck store only had one replacement hose left and said they couldn’t order them any more.
