Works about as well as sawdust or other oil-sorb products I have used in the past. Does have a nice clean smell and appreciate the natural ingredients, but at the cost for a 1lb pouch it is definitely not worth it. However, if you wanted to keep things natural the 30lb bag is a reasonable value. I will be sticking with my spill magic sorbent in the future.

This is not only great for a little spill in the garage but, being USDA organic, for in the house, like when something leaks in the refrigerator.

This is a great product to keep by the garage. Even if youre not actively doing an oil change, you may eventually have natural leaks and drips if your car is not super new. There is a smell coming from the product. Its basically hemp fibers or hemp biomass although Im not quite sure why they needed to add organic fragrance. Either way, the product is no-nonsense and it works quickly. I would recommend it.

This product is a must to have on hand for any type of spill, but especially those that would otherwise be difficult to clean up with a mop or paper towel. All you do is dump it on the spill and then sweep it up. I highly recommend keeping this stuff around the house or garage.

This absorbent work very well. It is lighter and absorbs much better than kitty litter. In the one pound pouch it is also very easy to store conveniently to where spills might happen. The product claims to be biodegradable, which I dont doubt, but that is for the absorbent itself. Its AFTER use biodegradability will certainly depend on what you used it to absorb. While I have no issue with the products performance, I do have some reservations about the cost...the cause for the one star reduction in my rating. The one pound pouch I received is listing for $16.82 at the time of this review. That is extremely expensive in my estimation. Larger size containers are better values, but this is still an expensive absorbent across the board. 5 stars for product performance, 3 stars for current pricing = 4 stars.

I tested this on some water I spilled and it worked pretty great. I did have to designate a container for the organs dry that has been used and could be reused. Depending on what you are drying up I’d suggest tossing it though.

I do my own oil changes at home and no matter how many tarps I put down some still get on the concrete so I decided to get this to help clean it up. It came packaged just fine with no spills. On getting it out it was in a bag and opening that you get what looks like brown dirt. I was changing my oil and some spilled so I threw this on it and low and behold it pulled up most of the oil before it could set in. Im definitely keeping this in my oil change kit for instance like this. All in all, I was honestly impressed by how quickly and effectively it picked up the oil that I spilled.

I plan on changing the oil in my car soon so this could come in handy. I try to be careful with motor oil but I have accidentally spilled the oil Ive drained in the past and wished I had something like this product on hand. And I like the fact that this product is 100% compostable.

We live near the water so we are very aware of the outdoor products we use. We like that this is organic and quick acting.

This liquid absorbent works very well. It comes in a resealable pouch which is nice so if I accidentally drop the bag it will not spill, just makes it easier for storing. My truck has an oil leak so I put some of this on the oil and it did a good job absorbing it. Its a big plus this is better for the environment that most.
