Original Matte Loose Mineral Foundation Broad Specrum SPF 15

Seems the same as what I buy in the Bare Minerals store. Coverage is good buy sometimes needs reapplied part way through the day

I live 1.5 hrs from a retailer for this product so I was happy to see that I could purchase it on amazon. I always use Bare Minerals Matte in Fairly Light. The first time I used the powder, I noticed it didnt go on the brush the same, then when I applied it to my face, it made my skin orange! It didnt cover any blemishes or red skin as the true product does either. I didnt use it again. Yesterday I made the drive to Sephora to pick up the real deal then compared the 2. Many small differences with the container/label, mostly with the color. Who knows what kind of toxic chemicals might be in the powder?! Complete garbage. Returned it. I notice that the price has dropped, I paid $26.49 when I bought it, if it were only $17 at the time of purchase, that may have clued me in that its not the true product!

Bare minerals powder foundation feels as if there is no make up on the skin at all. It is light yet gives good coverage and does not settle in any creases on the face.

Pros: Goes on easy Hides wrinkles/ pores pretty well Evens skin tone Cons: EXPENSIVE! More orangey than expected Becomes oily halfway through the day Not full coverage (I end up also using a lighter mineral powder over this one) Did I mention expensive? Verdict: If this was just your run of the mill, cheapo drugstore product, then Id totally understand, but this product was just too pricey and highly recommended to have been so low quality. Definitely switching products once Ive used this up.

This powder is just ok, it is a little more orange than I would like and doesnt have great coverage to it.

While I normally use the original (prefer over matte) I absolutely love BE foundation! I have a very red face, and this is the ONLY foundation that can cover it! I dont even need a concealer. I have tried many, MANY products for covering redness and many, MANY more foundations, and NOTHING compares the the amazing foundation by BE! I give this product 20 stars! I have had people (strangers!) tell me what perfect skin I have, and believe me, it is not! It is ALL thanks to this foundation!

I like this product. It is hard to choose between the original Bare Minerals and this Matte, but I think I will stay with the matte for a couple reasons: 1. I love the Matte finish. The Original leaves a bit of shimmer which is fine, but I like the airbrushed look better. 2. Personally, my skin seems smoother, maybe because there is no Bismuth Oxychloride in this formula. What I dont like is that it seems to go on much darker, so when I ordered it in my normal color I was a little disappointed. It also is a smaller amount than the original, and more pricey. Which bites. All that said, I like the feel and look of the product, the coverage is very good, and looks extremely natural.

I have been an avid user of BareMinerals Foundation for the past 5 years and can honestly say that I dont plan on changing that any time soon. It goes on so easily and makes my skin look fresh and smooth rather than chalky as Ive found some other mineral makeups do. This is a great product line to get stuck on!
