Original Matte Loose Mineral Foundation Broad Specrum SPF 15

I have always loved Bare Minerals. I will never go back to liquid foundation after using this. So great for sensitive skin.

I didn’t want sheerness. I wanted something to cover imperfections and give me smooth even color

Provides decent coverage but if you have eczema I would not purchase this! It amplifies the flakiness and you need to put a concealer underneath, and even then its not a smooth finish. Need to reapply twice a day if youre relatively active.

My second time purchasing this product, I really love layering it on top of liquid foundation for a somewhat flawless coverage. I have really bad skin and was wary to try Bare Minerals cause the brush is really course. I love it though, its really light. The color was hard to measure online but I got lucky.

Love how it evens out everything.

I got hooked on BareMinerals a couple of years ago and it has been fantastic since it lets my skin breath while I am wearing it. After a while I did try to replace it with a drugstore brand but the quality wasnt so good and my skin suffered from it. The package arrived pretty quickly so that was nice. The price was cheaper than Sephora site and I dont really have any quality makeup stores around me so I ordered it but since it wasnt a super saver shipper item the price was about the same (Im not sure if Sephora charges for shipping). Great product and stays on nicely all day.

I love Bare Minerals. It goes on easily with a brush, covers well, and is light on my face.

This is my go-to foundation, and Ive been using bareMinerals for over 10 years. Easy to apply (I use a kabuki brush to apply). Lasts all day for me. My skin is oily, and the MATTE helps control oil very well. It makes my skin feel soft and look flawless. My skin is also acne prone, and this foundation helps cover up scars easily. I do make sure to keep my kabuki brush clean, though. I wash it with soap and warm water every couple of weeks. This foundation is very easy to apply, just sift a bit of powder into the cap and swirl the kabuki brush into the powder and then buff your skin with the brush. I find that the more evenly I buff my skin with the brush and powder, the better it looks and feels.

This is the one makeup product that I use every day. The first few times I bought it, I used the original (non-matte) version. I switched to the matte to help get rid of the shininess left behind with the original. Choosing between the two depends on your skin type and on the moisturizer you are going to put on underneath. If you like to use a thicker / creamier moisturizer, or if your skin is oily to begin with, you might like the matte better (thats my case). But Ive also found that in the winter, the matte version can make my skin look dry no matter what I put underneath it. Overall this is a fantastic foundation that is easy and fast, perfect if you are rushed in the morning.

When I put my bareMinerals on it evens out the colors in my face. It doesnt look caked on as some do. Light enough to look natural.
