We had this remote for a month maybe longer and the batteries exploded. Not sure what the issue was, just heard a pop and opened up the back. Otherwise it was great.

Perfect replacement

I love that it has a gentle click for the buttons rather than the softness of the original remote. I am almost glad my kid’s jerk of a dog ate my remote.
