21-11-2024My big male Maine Coon (17 lbs) adores his Scratch Lounge! He spends about 75% of his day lounging in it. He even sleeps in it at night. Its well made & doesnt fall apart like the cheaper scratchers do. My cats pretty hard on it when hes sharpening his claws & this scratcher can take the punishment.

> 3 dayI had to replace the cardboard lounger that my cats destroyed, and wanted to replace it. My two cats immediately began to fight over who got to sit in this lounger. Im also really happy that it comes with a reversible replacement. Hopefully itll be a long time before I have to think about replacing this.

> 3 dayMy cats love this for both scratching and sleeping! Nice large size.

> 3 dayIt has a place for the cat to rest their head (both heads). It is wider than most boxes so the cats can turn around easily. Both of my cats LOVE this box.

> 3 dayWe had to buy two of them because our cats cannot share. This is the best place for them to cozy up and feel secure. The fact that they can scratch on it is just bonus!

Greater than one weekWe have 2 cats and they love this scratcher more than any other and it lasts longer as well. I mean that the cardboard actually doesnt break down as fast as the Chinese made ones . . . . I thought cardboard was cardboard, not true. The base flips over for a new scratching surface and when both sides of the floor are scratched up and used, I will break it in half and put the sides where the floor was and floor where the sides were . . . then flip them over for a total of 4 surfaces. Not to mention this one comes with an extra floor, itll last a looooooooong time. Plus . . . it is American made!!

Greater than one weekIm happy to say that this original scratch lounge is the same size and quality as the two I last purchased. This item has continued to increase in price, but a replacement bottom is now included, so that makes it a little better value. And this thing can last a couple years even without the replacement bottom. Dont forget that the sides and bottoms are meant to be flipped when they look scraggly. You can get creative, too, when changing the sides-- if your cat, like ours, only scratches one end of the side inserts, you can extend their life depending on how you flip and turn them. Bottom line--If the cats happy, were happy. And the cats VERY happy lol!

> 3 dayMy 15 year old cat started scratching the arm of our brand new sofa so we bought her a new scratching post and also this, in the hopes that one or both would be sufficient distractions that shed leave the couch alone. It seems to have worked but more importantly, she is OBSESSED with this. I almost didnt buy it because it seemed a bit pricey, but it is worth every penny. Shes not a petite cat by any means (shes actually pretty wide) but when shes done scratching she just crams herself in there and falls asleep. In fact, about 75% of her life is now spent sleeping in this thing. I never could have guessed shed love it so much. It is unfortunate that in our case we have to keep it right in the middle of the living room since the goal is to distract her from scratching the couch, and it takes up a certain amount of floor space, but its totally worth it! I also really like the packaging. Its green with a cute font and its just a lot prettier than I expected considering its made out of cardboard. I cant promise all cats would love it THIS much but Im certainly glad I decided to go for it.

> 3 dayI was a bit skeptical at first. But my cat loves it! Having done her daily scratch ritual in the box, shes now lying in it falling asleep as I type this. Sometimes the simplest is the best. If you have a cat(s) you need this.
