The height works great for me & it helps keep my laptop cool while I work. The metal has rubber & a lip at the end to keep it in place and secure.

It raises the laptop, allows easy cooling, and seems sturdy. Very simple to assemble, and doesnt look like itll come apart over time. Probably shouldnt be disassembled and reassembled repeatedly.

I have been stacking my laptop on a pile of books to get it at eye level before buying this. Things I love about it: It is lightweight and has pads on the bottom so it wont scratch my desk when I slide it around. The color matches my apple lap top perfectly so it looks unobtrusive Open from the front so I can store a book or two and my mouse underneath The keyboard slants down so it is very easy (comfortable to type (with elbows on the desk - dont tell my mom) The little curve up in the front and rubber like strips on the shelf hold the laptop in place. Improves my posture when using my laptop. Highly recommend.

Using this stand to properly hold a mighty laptop higher on the desk. Added benefit ... now I have more space underneath! Who knew ?! But really, this is a fine product, has nice rubber grippies to avoid sliding on the desk and has grippies to hold the laptop in place too. So, the whole setup does not move or slip around the desktop when typing. Genius.

This stand is sturdy and lightweight. I use it on my desk and while in my bed. The color compliments my office decor.
