Ortofon Stylus Pro S

Its ortofon so you know they are good.

I had been trying for several days to find replacement cartridges for my OM5e that didnt require overseas shipping or purchasing the entire unit for twice the price. I ended up settling for this model since I just couldnt get what I wanted and it was available for Prime Shipping. Threw it on my Orbit turntable when it arrived and its an acceptable substitution. The only thing Im concerned about is I hear the Pro S stylus wears out faster but will just have to keep an eye out for that in the near future...

Bought locally, but reviewing here. Excellent replacement stylus for my OM-10 Super cartridge. Frequency response is excellent. Crystalline highs, solid lows, and tracks like a champion. I switched from Stanton carts to the Ortofon about a decade ago, and couldnt be happier with these Danish-made cartridges. Theyre very lightweight, and the design is such that its simple to find the lead-in on a specific track. The sound is impressive, and the tone arm is easy to balance. For the money, these cannot be beat. I am not a DJ, I just have a collection of vinyl and enjoy listening this way. Tangible music. Recommended.

I have been using ortofons since the mid 90s....that should say it all!

If you dont own Pro S Stylus Ortofons, and havent tried them yet, give them serious consideration. Almost 10 years using them, and no complaints.

Awesome seller!! Installed the Pro S stylus on my OM Cartridge, sounds a bit better than my 5E needle. Not a huge improvement but its better than nothing!! Great replacement for the OM 5E cart

My record needle arrived within a few days, in good condition. Was really excited to listen to my new (vintage) record player for the first time.
