Osprey Atmos AG 65 Mens Backpacking Backpack

> 3 dayGreat comfortable, light pack. The anti-gravity suspension system works and breathes well. Occasional squeaking but nothing particularly noteworthy. Abundant space to overpack, so I need to check myself with a scale. Love the fact the top is detachable, but do consider if opting to leave it at home that the pack’s folded-up rain cover lives there. This pack travels as well as you pack it. The first trip I took felt awful because I had the weight distributed all wrong-- heavy stuff (tent) hanging off the bottom, stuff strapped to the outside, and 1.5L nalgenes stuffed into the side pockets. After shedding an unnecessary 15 lbs and redistributing the load, my joy factor doubled. WARNING: I have a 33/34 waist. The belt is actually TOO BIG for me on the Large sized pack. Im going to need to gain some weight, lolz, or find a way to buffer my hips. Two days into a backpacking trip, and the Atmos AG 65 was slipping down my backside. Really think things through carefully if youre on the M / L sizing boundary. Caveat: Last backpack I purchased was an early 1980s Jansport external frame model... when I was a pre-teen.

> 3 dayI have about 300 miles on this pack so far and it has held up fantastically. It has lots of straps for adjustments and gear, plenty of room for a 10 day trip if you pack smart, and has been comfortable!

> 3 dayFinished the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim with absolutely no back pain thanks to the Osprey Atmos 65 and Leki poles. I did end up leaving my tent and rain gear behind, but still had about almost 30lbs fully loaded with food and water. Now I’m looking at the Atmos 50 for quicker/faster hikes. The 65 ended up having a ton of extra room despite leaving the removable top part..

> 3 dayGo read All the reviews from backpacking sites ( not purchasing sites) and you will see hikers telling you how comfortable this pack is. It’s true. I typically roll with my smaller Osprey Exos 38 or 48, but wanted a larger pack. And yeah, just like others say, I can carry a good 10 lbs more in this pack and it will feel the same weight as my others. Weird but true.

> 3 dayI bought it as a gift. But when I received the package it was too big and heavy. And I can not put it in my luggage. Also, in the description it mentioned that it is light but honestly it was not.

> 3 dayWe were looking at the same backpack at REI and it was $40 cheaper to purchase on Amazon. Is the exact same as what we wanted.

> 3 dayPerfect and comfortable for backpacking, can fit loads of stuff. In terms of flying to a destination, the frame is a little large, and does not fit in most overhead compartments in a plane. However, I would not trust this bag in a checked hold, as it has lots of straps that could get caught on something and broken by airport staff.

> 3 dayI absolutely love the antigravity system. Best pack I have ever owned. I’m not a fan on the waist adjustments as I see it being a wear point but overall great pack
