I am a fan of Ospreys products and their excellent warranty and satisfaction guarantee. In fact, their treatment of their customers is one of the reasons for why I switched away from Gregory. Raven 10 is the pack I had purchased for my wife for when we go bike riding. She always preferred biking with her Camelbak one because of the smaller size, but after she used this Osprey pack, she actually switched to it! PROS - Osprey satisfaction guarantee and customer service - 2.5L hydration reservoir included - Mesh back to help keep you stay a bit more dry and ventilated - Magnet on the chest strap to help keep the hydration mouth piece within reach and secure - Dual zipper pockets - Stabilizing waist bands - Hydration sleeve to route the hose through - Thoughtfully-included Bike helmet attachment mechanism - Stretch mesh for stashing bulkier items like a jacket - Rear blinker light attachment towards the center bottom - Removable tool belt The slightly larger Raven or Raptor 14 also comes with a side-compression strap to hold larger gear, and a front-zipper stash pocket with key holder. CONS - A bit pricey compared to Camelbak packs, but none really come with the feature set offered by this pack This pack, once again, underscores why I have switched to Osprey (despite their higher price) for their quality, customer service, and product design. I highly recommend it. If you found this review helpful, please click the Yes/Helpful button to encourage me to write more. Thank you!

Amazing pack. I picked this up for dual purpose. First, I plan on biking next year again so I can speak on that aspect...yet. Second, I wanted a small day pack and my hydration only pack was just a little too small. A few things I noticed immediately: • My BD zpoles fit in the interior slots • I can attach my climbing helmet to the outside fairly easily, making this an excellent scram pack already. • The bottom has organization so when not biking you can organize important gear or essential 10s for day hike. • Can fit my layers in the bigger slot. I never knew I needed a bag more until I bought this. Go for it! Cant go wrong with a bag that actually has dual purpose.

The Osprey Raven 10 is my new go-to MTB pack for trail riding and is absolutely perfect for shredding the back woods. It holds exactly what I need for a MTB day (basic tools, food, extra layer) in a perfectly organized and snug enough package that it says absolutely planted on my back. You honestly forget that its back there! I think that the key to the Ravens comfort is the wide stabilizing waist belt that keeps all of the weight snug down low and prevents way or bouncing. And as is standard for Ospreys womens packs, the designers really understand how to contour the straps and shape the torso and waist belt to be comfortable on a womans frame. The flexible back pad doesnt seem quite as cool as the mesh suspension found on some other Osprey hydration packs, but it is lighter weight and does a great job of flexing with your body as you articulate wearing it on your bike. For this reason I often reach for a different Osprey pack if Ill be spending the majority of my day or my trip hiking, but for mountain biking I think the Raven is far superior. The other superlative touch is the internal organization for tools. It has very well thought out pouches and a tool roll for your pump, multi-tool, and tubes/patches (since I still prefer to run tubes!).

I absolutely love this bag, however, the mouthpiece needs a cover

Very functional, comfortable, durable and stylish. I bought this after being a camelback user for years. I have to say this is a game changer. LOVE it!

I have used this hydration pack solely for mountain biking, which is primarily what I used my Camelbak M.U.LE. Hydration Pack for. The Osprey Raven is the best fitting pack that I have used. It is exceptionally comfortable and doesn’t get as sweaty as my Camelbak did - the ventilation is so much better. It fits me more closely than my Camelbak did and doesn’t move around on small jumps or get off-center like my Camelbak did. I’m on the smaller side and generally have to cinch my hydration packs pretty tightly to get a good fit, and the Osprey allows me to get a close and comfortable fit. I love the built in bag for your tools - rather than having them rattle around my pack. It does carry less water (2.5 liters vs 3 liters) and has slightly less room for all the layers I sometimes like to tote around, but I can fit everything I need (First Aid Kit, tools, warm layer, enormous phone) and never run out of water for rides up to 18 mi. The bite valve has a magnetic piece that attaches across the chest. This took a little getting used to but now I can get it back in place while riding, no problem. It keeps it from bouncing against you while riding All in all I LOVE this pack and find it much more comfortable than my previous Camelbak pack.
