> 24 hourI am using this smart plug outside for the birdbath heater. Works just perfect. I can operate it from inside the house via smartphone. Love it.

> 24 hourThe device does not pair to wifi. It claims to use the Smart Home app (which I use for various other smart devices without issue), but the instructions provided are out of date and no longer correspond with how the app works. The instructions also contain spelling errors. Just seems all around cheaply made and unprofessional. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

> 24 hourOutdoor Smart Plug is a great way to control our outdoor light strings from Alexa or using the onboard switch. The integration to Alexa control was quick and easy using the smart tools app, follow the instructions and it takes about 3 minutes to complete. This is a dual plug outlet so you can control the plugs independently or as a group through Alexa, this provides flexibility to select different lights or other items to be controlled as desired. The other good thing about this switch is the current rating, you can put a large string of lights, or possibly a outdoor heater or infrared lights, schedule them and be a hero to your pets.

> 24 hourLet me get the negative out of the way: The instructions vaguely mention downloading the Smart Life app. But it doesn’t specify which one. I found three from the same developer with similar names in iOS . Two of them are identical so I don’t know why they have duplicates. I downloaded two until I could make out the correct one. Aside from this, the app doesn’t offer scheduling functionality beyond a week. I need to be able to schedule it monthly at least. That’s when the router begins to need to be restarted. The positive: You can schedule a weekly on/off every or any day of the week (although it’s limited to that) for each of the two outlets. Can be remote controlled via the Internet and you can share the access. My conclusion is that it can be practical to an extent. It needs monthly scheduling. I wouldn’t want to restart the router unnecessarily once a week because I have another one in the house which is working as a repeater. The second one tends to unlink from the main and cannot be relinked unless unplugging it and reconnecting it from the power. Time will tell if the smart plug is useful despite its limitations. When my router needs restarting, few devices are accessible from the internet. The fear is that if the smart plug is not accessible, then it beats the purpose of having it.

> 24 hourI already had the Smart Life app with a couple of things already in it which had been shared with Alexa so I have voice control with these items. I added this outdoor smart plug to the app and then shared it with Alexa. What Ive plugged in is the bug zapper and a string of porch lights. Not bad! I can program the zapper and lights to come on after dark and only until I head off to bed. That way when I take the dogs out, I can sit out on the porch and enjoy the evening without icky bugs. This is a great addition to my smart home. I forgot to mention that I did have some issues with getting this smart plug recognized. Apparently I had to set my internet connection to 02G instead of 05G for the app to find it. I spent about 2 hours trying to understand why I was having so much trouble until I realized the app was asking me to change my internet connection to 02G in order to get connected. Weird, but once done, it was discovered and added to Alexa so I can now say, Alexa, turn on porch lights, and BAM! They come on! Because I have an Echo Auto, if Im out later than I planned and its dark by the time I drive home, I can ask Alexa to turn on the porch lights so I dont have to stumble through my front gate and up the porch steps in the dark. THIS is why I love the smart life!

> 24 hourThe possibility of having WiFi integrated plugs outdoors is great. Control of patio lighting, seasonal lights, outdoor fans and so on. The plug also integrates into the Amazon Echo Alexa control for simple operation. The plug has two independent plugs that can be each controlled per the smartphone App or voice command. The plug has features like scheduled on/off, a countdown timer and individual control. WiFi connection was easy and the signal seems to be very strong. My in home WiFi network is very good outside and that helps. The plug is compact, weather resistant and durable. It is a high quality device that functions reliably and has practical features. It is very reasonably priced and is a great value. I give it 5 stars.

> 24 hourThis wifi smart plug is nice. It was a pain to connect, but I eventually figured it out after about 30 minutes. I do like that you can control both plugs independently.

> 24 hourI set this up to turn on LED light bar over BBQ and Smoker as well as to light car port. I wanted to have remote control to turn lights and Smoker On/Off. Perfect. Easy set up on I-Phone 8
