I love this parasol, and use it to block the Florida sun. I am complimented all the time. My only complaint is partially my fault, partially manufacturing. I like to store my umbrellas with the hook looping and hanging from the oh crap bar in my SUV. Florida heat + closed car + the glue they use to attach the handle = handle fell off. A quick epoxy mix later, and Ive had no more issues. I purchased mine for regular use, if youre buying for a wedding or cosplay, you should have no problems, if the quality is consistent!

While this is great, its smaller than I expected and the handle IS NOT CURVED. Update: Handle was broken. Seller refunded my money. And I will likely just buy another one from the same seller, if for no other reason than their customer service is wonderful! If you have a problem, talk to them, theyre super nice and efficient.

Not lacy, but enough frill to make it Victorian. The shape, however, is awesome! It is long enough to be a walking parasol (at least for me at 56.5) but not bulky. Works quite well for a Victorian witch costume (I purchased black)!

I get so many compliments on this parasol. Its beyond adorable. It provides excellent shade against the harshest desert sunlight, and Ive also taken it out in some light drizzles to great effect. Please note that this is a rather large, heavy parasol: its too big for my 80-lbs child to handle comfortably. I have to rest it against my shoulder or my hands get tired keeping it upright. I feel like smaller adults may be overwhelmed by it. On the bright side, youll look so cute while overwhelmed.

It’s a beautiful umbrella the only issue I have is one of the metal caps that goes at the end of the little poles that hold the umbrella open was not on the pole. Easy fix and I’ll be using this umbrella to keep the sun off of me for medical reasons.

This is a great gothic/victorian style parasol. I will use it both winter and summer. For rain and for shielding myself from the sun. It looks as pictured and is a larger size diameter for extra rain or sun protection. This is a great style and will suit anyone who gravitates toward this steam punk type of design, or anyone who just likes the way it looks. It is fully functional and not just a decoration.

I PAID FULL PRICE FOR THIS, so here is a factually honest, truly unbiased, and voluntary review - Although it is beautiful, it is not white (as was listed at time I purchased). Its YELLOWED/CREAM COLOR. Very disappointing (especially when it had been planned to wear with a pure white outfit). Very pretty yes, but NOT WHITE. I will write a note to the manufacturer to find out if what I received was just damaged, or whether this yellowed color is what the color is actually supposed to be. Will update when I find out. I heard back from the seller. They apologized for the mis-listing the color of the item and then right away changed the word white in the title to beige. I have now asked if I can exchange for a black with black ruffles umbrella. Hopefully they will replace as this does not work with my white outfit. The seller was wonderful about it all. This cream and black style is a beautiful umbrella but I totally prefer the black on black one (which is very Gothic looking).

I bought this for a cruise and I can say that it definitely helped with sun protection in the Caribbean. <3 It isnt an automatic, which made it slightly unwieldy but its shape is just so dang pretty that I couldnt resist. Its a really great size. Im plus sized and it was able to shield all of me from the bright tropical sun when I positioned it correctly, and it gave me a good amount of get out of my personal bubble space, despite the attention it garnered for me. I am not particularly feminine, but this made me feel girlish and pretty, PLUS it survived pretty brutal handling, as I am not terribly delicate myself. It was a little long when just carrying around-- Im 5 foot one, and it was a little too long to use like a walking stick when it was furled up, but normal-sized people wont have a problem. All in all, it was sturdy in the tropical winds and if I need another color or style, I will not hesitate to buy from the same seller, either!
