Pretty Umbrella! However, when it came some of the end caps on the tips were not properly attached and I had to fix it. Works fine now.

Ships direct from China, it took us 2.5 months to get the parasol, and it is in fact quite cheaply made. I hope it lasts for awhile..

Just my style, took it for a walk in the Chicago Botanical Gardens, and it was perfect! I did get caught on a few trees, but thats the price one pays for not being short in a Japanese garden.

I rarely leave reviews but felt compelled to help set expectations for future buyers. This is the second time I purchased this parasol, hoping for a better experience but to my dismay, it only lasted through 2 uses before it broke like the first time. The first one lasted through 1 use before it broke - couldnt stay open and some of the caps on the spokes came off, revealing the skeleton of half the parasol. Its just really cheaply made. My $3 paper parasol from Oriental Trading that I bought over a decade ago still works, and works better. Its unfortunate because its such a cute design and I love the look, but it just doesnt hold up. I will be sending it back.
