> 24 hourThis product looks great! My logs had weathered for 13 years and they soaked up a huge amount of material. logs that had less exposure to the elements, less so. Used a Hudson sprayer as recommend dont wast your time with a brush, per the instructions to apply to the point of refusal, not going to happen on a large scale with a brush. I was initially concerned about the oder but it was mostly gone after a few days. Get your self a large box of latex gloves and Tyvek suit or two this stuff smells like insecticide and soaks into everything ( which is a good thing)

> 24 hourThis is our third time purchasing Q8 log oil but the first time with this larger 5 gallon jug. We bought a bigger jug for reapplication in 2 years! CONTAINER: I found the 1 gallon jug much easier to manage for my small backyard projects. The 5 gallon jug is harder to poor without spilling. This stuff kills grass and is bad for concrete so you don’t want to spill. USES: We have used Q8 log oil to finish an oversized swing beam in 2017 and supports and recoated it easily 2 years later (spring 2019) for fading and rain surface wear. My only prep needed was to remove the few patches of birdpoop and pollen dust. We more recently refinish a play fort previously finished with several other products that came off with a pressure washer. We were able to use te Q8 even with a few bits of odd stubborn stain in place. Recommended: My dad has even used this on his own deck inbetween my projects because he was impressed about the no sanding or pressure washing needed to recoat in a few years. That makes this product UNIQUE as a deck finish.

> 24 hourLiked the way it soaks in. I bought barn gray, I panicked at first, it goes on with a very green tint. I called manufacturer they said the green is the copper in the product, but it will disapate over a few days and will be correct color and it DID. Goes a long way

> 24 hourThis oil is nothing like Ive used before. It is light, does not have a strong smell and penetrated our wood posts easily with rich, warm color and n just one application. I covered 14 10 ft 6x6 posts and used less than a quart. Dont know how long the finish will last but so far I am impressed!

> 24 hourEasy to apply. Darkens the wood slightly. Water beads up nicely. Looks like a whole new deck!

> 24 hourWe used this product to coat new log pine siding installed on our Adirondack camp. It goes on easy and says it can be recoated (if, and when needed) by spraying with a common garden sprayer. Water bounces off the siding and it looks great. Love this stuff. Also, it says it can be used on presure treated decks without waiting months to season. Expensive but well worth the cost.
