> 3 dayMy 1 and 3 year old was able to take those other ones off that you can find in any retail store. But THESEE, OMG these are absolutely the BEST! My kids tried getting it off, even my 8 year old and they cant. They can flip the handle down bur thats it they cant even pull it out. THANK GOD because the youngest will play with the outlets and my 1 year will try to plug things up. It is kind of hard for us to get it out ourselves BUT it isnt difficult though.

> 3 dayA baby will DEFINITELY NOT be able to get these out, because adults can barely get them out either. Trying to pull the little handle down to be able to pull the plug out proves to be nearly impossible for most of the plugs in the package. We have to pry the handles out using another object such as a credit card or a butter knife. Inconvenient, but at least the baby will definitely be safe. If you have any sort of dexterity issue with your hands, I would look for another baby-proofing option.

Greater than one weekThese outlet covers were on our baby registry and I’m so glad we were gifted them. The box of 40 was enough to cover all outlets reachable by baby and those that will be reachable as he grows! The covers are relatively easy to install, they require a little push but that just means it’s snug fitting. The pop up and down handle is helpful for removing them but it doesn’t seem like a small child would be able to easy pop it down to use, much less get the leverage needed to remove. Yes, it requires a little ‘umph’ to remove but nothing that a teen or adult couldn’t manage; it’s just enough to keep small hands from being able to access the outlet. Overall, we’re very pleased and few like we’ve made our home that much safer for our crawling babe!
