My opinion is that a given wire color should carry the same signal, if possible. This cable does that. On one end the Red wire is connected to a male pin. On the other end of the cable, the Red wire is connected to a female pin. Yes, with this cable you can get a color reversal if you connect the wrong end. So I connect the cable to my supply with the end that matches colors such that Red in the entire cable lash-up is always positive polarity. That way, unless I come across a mating cable whose pins are wired opposite my supply, I wont ever need the little black polarity reverser that comes with this cable. For now, I only use the SAE alligator clips and the SAE male cigarette lighter plug that came with my supply. The seller name was OYMSAE. I got a cable that was almost 26 feet. Cable was delivered Same Day service on 06Aug2022 for about 17 buckazoids. See the photos.

Appears to be well made, molded on connectors. Be aware of polarity at charge controller and Zamp port so that red or positive runs true to convention. I had to swap ends to have that happen. I used a silver metallic Sharpie to mark the properly mating ends at the controller for future ease of connection without the need for a voltmeter. N.B. warning about only Zamp... I believe thats because Zamp plugs may be reversed polarity wise. Check with a voltmeter first! Know what youre doing or get help.

This is the second one Ive purchased. The first is still working just fine. Each one is hooked to a 100w solar panel and a 12v battery. I have operated a fan all day and still can charge accessories at night.

Used it for extension cable for solar battery cable for car that is stored in a building that hasd no electricity

So great now u can use more soler panels an really enjoy its worth it an it was on time even better
