These work great for parallel wiring my panels. Very easy to use.

Quality set with a handy tool to unlock connectors. Quite thick cable, btw.

Good quality connectors. Mated up perfectly to my Renogy brand Solar Panels. Needed these to split my 400 watt array into 2 200watt arrays. No problems after several months and driving my RV several thousand miles.

Quick and easy way of hooking up solar panels in parallel

It has been so much easier to connect the solar wires with these as the black goes to the black (-) and the red goes to the red (+). The only bad part is that every once in awhile I get a connector that the clips dont go through and click the 2 pieces together or they go through and I cant get them apart even with the tool.

I purchased the solar connectors to connect two Acopower 120W solar panels. I thought all MC4 connectors were the same, which seems to be the standard for solar connections. What I found out was that is not the case. The MC4 connectors on the panels are slightly different. To make the Y connectors work I had to file down the clip connections that keep the MC4s from pulling apart. They are tight, but they now work for me. I am still giving the Y connectors a full 5 rating because they are of good quality and the fitment is not the fault of the manufacturer. I would purchase these again if needed.

It will be nice to have a very short (half a page) instruction how the disassembly tool work.
