PAC USB-DMA Dash-Mount Adaptor for USB Accessories

A wire dangling out of the dash is not a good way to go. This is much better. Just drill a 3/4” hole in your dash (make sure you have at least 1 1/2 in of clear space behind. 2” is even better) run the usb cable through the hole, plug the two together and push this into the hole. Done.

Worked well to extend new stereo usb input to front panel of dash. Fine for both CarPlay and memory fob mp3 music source. Only issue is I had to put a tie wrap around the back to tighten up the axial fit. Apparently made for a thicker panel.

Fit perfect in the hole I wanted it for.

This product was great. Worked perfectly as a pass-through usb extension. The flush mount was high quality plastic and was pretty shallow so it did not require much space behind the drilled hole to fit in which is a huge plus. Alot of the other ones you need like 3 inches of clearance. I think this one was around 1 to 1.25 which allowed to make a safe bend on the wire in a really tight spot.

Good product by PAC. The plug does not come loose. I have had no connection issues either. I really good buy .

Installed in my truck to upgraded stereo. Works great.

It was easy to install and it did what it was supposed to. I used this to interface to a JVC radio I installed in my car, and it looks like it was factory installed.

Was sort of expecting to be able to replace my cigarette lighter with this but size is different, maybe my bad :(
