I recommend having the hole shaped to fit the contours of the mount. Or using some kind of glue. My ipod connection works great and now we can connect without issue for my Uber riders!

Greater than one weekThis thing is the perfect solution for anyone who has upgraded to an Android Auto/Apple CarPlay unit and needs a USB input. Literally just drill a hole with a 1/4 inch spade bit and pop it right in. Looks stock as long as you put it somewhere with some sense.
