Baby is more mobile so had to move his mattress in the Playard from the higher level to the bottom. The mattress, as is, wasnt very comfortable on the bottom, very hard. Purchased this mattress pad to make it more comfortable for baby. As others have said, it needed a couple of days to reach full thickness and it had a slight manufacturing scent. Removed and washed the cover, sprayed underlying pad with Dreft spray on each side and it was fine, no more smell. Playard cribsheet barely fit, which was great because I wanted maximum thickness; made it nice and comfy, baby sleeps well on it.

I love it! I bought this a year ago to go into my son pack n play because the original pad was not comfortable for him to sleep on. It worked for a while but now we’ll be using it for our daughters pack n play . A year later and it’s still holding up great!

The baby (20 months) is sleeping so much better. Im very happy with the product! So when shes at Nanas house her nap time is better.

This has a very soft, removable cover, but it is not waterproof. However, it is machine washable. It is a somewhat medium firmness, but very plush. It is well made, with nice quality materials and quality craftsmanship. It includes the carrying case. I just love the portability and versatility. Can be used with pack and play or without. Great for camping, sleepovers or just nap time. The are so many ways to use this. Very satisfied with this product.

My 10 week old is very selective about where he sleeps, we’ve transitioned from our bed to his own with this mattress and he sleeps great!

Some of these are too small for the crib, but this one is perfect! Grandson slept through the night!
