My palette knives can be difficult just laying on my palette, fall off into the dirt (or worse - into a creek) and this holder, with a little plastic cup stuffed into it, is the perfect solution. It clamps to my tripod, and holds several knives, or brushes. You can see it in the photo, between my canvas and my palette - with a blue cup in it (cup purchased separately).
