Greater than one weekYou know that cheap tape your mom buys? The super thin stuff you can’t use without breaking, then you spend the next five minutes trying to get the roll started again, get one good run, then it breaks again, and you find yourself in a vicious cycle of tape breaking, peeling it up, and using colorful words? This isnt that tape. This is the good stuff that fits your tape gun, does a clean run, and seals that box nicely. Also makes great shipping label topper. If the $1 a roll tape is worth wasting your time and life on, by all means buy it. If youd like to get the job done and move on with your life, buy this tape.

Greater than one weekBetter than the other tape I get at the post office. If I go ham on this tape I can make a box waterproof.

> 3 dayThe first time I bought this a couple years ago it was fine... very thick and strong for shipping boxes. My recent purchase however was terrible. The tape is super thin and weak!

> 3 dayThis smells funky. SO WHAT! It works great and is thick and strong. Do you smell your packages when they come from Amazon? If not this is the tape for you.

> 3 dayI prefer the 3inch over the 2inch, it may cost a little more but in the long run you use a lot less tape!

> 3 dayI use Less tape now as I do not have to overdo it with the thin tape. Its amazing to me that this is not available in any store that I know of. This heavy duty, great tape!

> 3 dayThere is no comparison. Its counterintuitive, but the thick 3m and off-brand Heavy Duty tapes dont work well at all (they dont stick to the boxes). The thinner, slightly smelly, Uline stuff is the only way to go. We used both kinds of tape during a move and the Uline stuff made it to the other side looking just like it started. The 3m tape pealed off and failed left and right. Note: the smell is from a solvent in the adhesive, which is essential to having good adhesion. If youre worried about solvents, there is not enough solvent in this to harm you. Its all about dose, and this is a very small dose.
