Pampers are great for newborns. They are my favorite diapers for a baby that size. The only draw back is Pampers is so expensive. For a newborn I would say it is worth the cost but maybe look at other brands once your baby is a little bigger.

Ive always been a bit of a pampers snob and will only buy pampers swaddlers. That said, Im also a bit of an environmentalist so I was curious about this eco friendly line. Amazon had a deal that made them about the same price as what I usually buy so I went ahead and tried it out. Big mistake. I dont know what is in these but I change my daughter about every 3 to 4 hours for pee and immediately if I notice poop. Shes a year and a half old and has only had a handful of diaper rashes in her life because of an acidic poop and they always clear up in a day or two. First time I put one of these pure diapers on her, she had the worst rash Ive ever seen all over, front to back and on her thighs. The rash looked similar to a sunburn. I didnt immediately guess it was the diaper so after I cleaned her up, gave her a bath and coated her in desitin (which has historically been the cure all for any rash she has had) I put another one of these diapers on her and she went to bed. A few hours later she woke up screaming in pain. She had pooped but the worst part was when I changed her, the rash was 1000x redder and bleeding. This has NEVER happened before. My baby has never been in pain like that and it was heart breaking. I switched her back to the other diapers that I know work for her and it is slowly starting to noticably heal less than 8 hours later but she is still crying when we wipe her. I dont know what these diapers are treated with but I hope no child ever has to experience what mine did.

I accidentally bought luvs diapers once for my children and let me tell you that was the worst decision! They were so hard like sand paper that both of my kids got such bad irritations from them. Fast forward a week later I purchased the pampers pure and am SOOO happy! Much softer and the bottoms of my babies are much happier and not screaming from fire engine red blisters. These diapers are my new go to diapers. 10/10 recommend.

We had quite a few diaper leaks in the beginning, but I think that was due to not being the right size diaper and our baby’s ability to poop straight towards the side of the diaper rather than the middle. She had a bad diaper rash in the beginning, but it cleared up after some TLC and we’ve had no issues since then.

We honestly never tried any other diapers since my daughter was born, but we didn’t have to! They are gentle on her skin, never caused any irritation. And they work great at managing all her messes!

So I know, not really a review for the target audience! I have a 17 year old cat with incontinence issues and its been breaking my bank to buy special cat diapers. I am making this review for other pet parents who have this issue and are looking for cheaper alternatives. I will be using Hartz brand cat daipers for comparison. Pampers vs Hartz Absorbency: Both perform at or near the same level, keeping my cats bottom dry and irritation free. No leaks on furniture so far. Fit: Seeing as cats and baby have different hips, its a no brainer that the Hartz fit better than baby diapers. However, the fit is pretty damn close. The Pampers size 1 is the same waist size as the Hartz small, but it has padding around the whole bottom instead of just under the tail. While it fits her waist fine, theres still quite a bit of extra room in the bottom which isnt the best as when she poops, sometimes is slides down and gets on her belly. On a baby it may be easier to clean, but with a cat theres a lot of fur that it can get stuck in. Price: Pampers wins 100%!! For the amount you get with the Pampers it would cost quadruple to get the Hartz. $10/32 Pampers, $45/32 Hartz. Tail accessibility: Pampers is made for babies, so it lacks a tail hole. Some cats especially paralyzed ones may not need a tail hole, but for those that do it is quite easy to cut a hole for the tail. My suggestion would be to start small. It should be just big enough to get the bones of the tail through, the fur will follow you may just have to fluff it a bit. The only problem with cutting a hole is that the inside absorbent bits of the daiper may spill out where your cat sits like on the couch. If this is a problem, Id recommend Hartz as they come with a pre built tail hole. Take away: The Pampers are not meant for cats, but can be used as a decent alternative to cat specific daipers. Theyre easier on the bank and provide near the same protection. Daipers on cats in general last about the same amount of time as daipers on babies so be ready to change them frequently every few hours. Baby daipers will never fit as perfectly as a cat daiper, but theyre close enough to work!

Our baby is long and skinny so no really good solution. We have been using naturals since newborn. She was in newborn for 2 months, Size 1 exclusively from 2.5 to 4.5 months. She has been in Size 2 diaper she is currently 6 months at time of review. She is also 100% breastfed. When she hits the weight limit of the diaper what we notice is she needs the smaller diaper during the day and bigger diaper at night. So during transition phase, we would use up the size 1 diapers during the day and size 2 diapers at night. Until she completely outgrew size 1 diapers then it was size to only. Our baby sleeps from 7P to 5A with waking up 2-3 times to eat, but doesnt pee at night, between 4 and 5A she empties her bladder. She fully saturates the diaper, 6 out 7 days a week with no leaks. On the 7th day she will leak out or pee in middle of diaper change. Throughout the day she will have 1-2 big poops that we change her within 5 minutes and works out well with no leaks. Only time she has a poop leak is if she poops a lot and rolls around and we werent quick enough to change her. (i.e. we didnt know she pooped or she pooped and peed all the same time) We use a diaper pail and use compostable bags and throw away in regular trash so we know we are minimizing amount of plastic and non-degreable waste. We use to the elastic straps to make a diaper ball and throw it away. After a 5 to 6 days we need to take the diaper trash out and currently no stink. Rolling them up tight minimizing smell. if you just throw the diaper in there it will smell a lot more. I know every baby is different. But we will continue with this brand. No quality control issues!

I used them until my baby was 4 months and she never had a diaper rash. They were great at first but these are not as absorbent so they will leak if your baby sleeps through the night.
