Greater than one weekI purchased this along with the titanium white which I have not received yet and Im going to compare it but Im pretty sure the individual package is supposed to have a seal around it it didnt occur to me until after I took it out of the bubble wrap and unscrew the lid and saw a little smudge Mark like someone put their finger there that I realized there was no plastic seal I honestly dont know theres supposed to be one like if these are supposed to be pulled from multiple packets which Im okay with but it was definitely touched before I had opened it. Regardless the pigment is nice and Im actually using it to help color my hair I found a good system especially for dark hair to use a combination of soft and oil pastels along with color hair spray to make it look more natural

> 3 dayThis is essential for anyone who has Pan Pastels (or any pastels, really)- its basically like a clear Pan Pastel and allows you to extend and pull an application of Pan Pastel without making the color lighter or darker. For instance, if you lay down a line of blue Pan Pastel on your paper, you can then drag some of this right on top and it will allow you to cover twice as much area without dimming the color. I use it a lot to create transparent colors with Pan Pastels and other dry pastel sticks I have in my art supply collection. It also works as a way to get am ombre/faded look, and is a wonderful way to blend colors adjacent to one another without actually *mixing* the colors, so you dont get any muddy grays/browns from mixing colors that are complementary.

Greater than one weekfor my purposes it does not matter that it came broken, but I was a bit disappointed as I did pay a good amount of money on a single pastel. I think the packaging is to blame as it was placed in a plastic bag at the bottom of the box. There were a few packaging bubbles but since the pastel was at the bottom of the box it did no good. If you dont mind this product being broken up or have means to repair it go for it as it is a stellar pastel with great coverage.

> 3 dayThis blending medium is excellent and will keep the colors you blended true to their vibrancy and not leave them dull or chalky. I highly recommend if you are going to use PanPastels, which are excellent btw, you need to have this.
