Pantene, Beauty Balm, Softness, Strength and Shines, Pro-V , 5.1 Fl Oz (Pack of 3)

I’ve been using this Pantene Bb cream for years. I used to use a much more expensive ($20 a bottle) cream for my hair before trying the Pantene version. I use it after I’ve washed my hair, applied while my hair is still wet and I’m able to use a wet brush to detangle my hair. My hair also feels super soft and luxurious when it dries (as long as I don’t over do it because then it feel a little greasy) I switched back to the $20 product for a while and quickly realized it made my hair feel EXACTLY the same. Sadly, I’m a little frustrated with the pricing of this online. I used to buy this for $7 in stores or $5 a bottle when it was in sale. Since I moved, I’ve been forced to overpay for it by ordering it online. This stuff is wonderful! and it’s basically essential for me to wash my hair these days but in stores is cheaper or buy it on sale! Also, beware that similar Pantene products/creams may look similar but they are completely different and not interchangeable.

I usually avoid Pantene products because they make my head break out in bumps but I needed something really moisturizing for my bad experience with a supposedly gentle vegan hair color that destroyed my hair. I applied this on towel dry Washed hair, I used four pumps and rubbed this creamy conditioner into my hands as instructed then applied it from the bottom up. My hair is super fine and extremely dry. I combed it in and let it air dry naturally and it worked really well, not at all clumpy or greasy looking. This is not a fine mist. It comes out creamy so you can’t spray this directly on your hair. Even using quite a bit my hair was not greasy looking, it was super soft when it dried. This is good on badly damaged hair. Again, my hair was badly damaged and this honestly didn’t work miracles on my hair alone but it was a good supplement to a good shampoo and conditioner for severely damaged hair like Gliss by Shwarzkopf which is awesome. This oil smells wonderful, kind of like cherry.

When I got this purchase it was well packet and everything was great! Just that I think that the product was a little too expensive for a 3 pack. But overall good product, my hair is super healthy now!

This Pantene beauty balm is water based, so it is lightweight and does not weigh hair down. After shampooing and conditioning my hair, I towel dry it and then apply 2-3 pumps of this to my clean, damp hair. Since this is not oil based, I also apply it near my roots. This balm moisturizes my hair and makes it look smooth and shiny. It is effective at taming frizzes. Like most Pantene products, this has a pleasant fragrance.

I started wearing my hair naturally about 4 years ago and Im always looking for products to enhance my hair style. This balm makes my hair feel so nice and soft. I use it after washing and also a couple times during the week and I love how manageable it makes my hair feel. The smell is so pleasing, very nice!!

I love the smell of this product. When applying, less is more... It made my hair feel a bit greasy sometimes. Overall, the product did what it was meant to do, and my hair has never felt better!

This is a review of the Beauty Balm. It is made to be a leave in conditioner which is something that I need but often find is too heavy for my layered hair. This balm is not as heavy as some I have tried which, for me, is a god thing. If I use just a little, concentrating on the lower part of my hair where the damage is, it doesnt weigh my hair down and it fuses frizzes and split ends so that they look less noticeable. My hair is soft and shiny. If I overuse this balm, it will weigh my hair down and make it look a bit stringy and greasy. This is also good to use as a deep conditioning rinse off balm. After washing and conditioning my hair, I apply a bit more than usual to the ends and then all through my hair, avoiding the scalp and very top area.I leave it in for a few minutes then rinse quickly. My hair is soft, healthy looking, and not weighed down at all. This is good for damaged, dry, and/or color treated hair. Mine is all three. I just had to have several inches cut off because the hair was dead and looked frazzled. Now I am working with less damage and hoping this balm will keep damage at bay and protect it from harsh styling tools and chemical damage. So far, it has performed well. This is one of the better Pantene products I have tried. Its versatile and effective.

My favorite leave in conditioner for curly hair

I’ve recently started growing my hair out from a buzz cut which has resulted in me trying to find styling products that work for my hair. I’ve never used a hair balm before and I had a slight learning curve. My hair is short and using two pumps was way, way too much! And using two pumps on dry hair was beyond way too much and resulted in me having to wash my hair again. Got my shirt hair, one pump works perfectly and putting it on wet or damp hair is better. I really needed help with flyaways and I do think this has reduced them. Not perfectly, but they’re better. There seems to be a lot of structure building with this product to help you style your hair. And to help your hair maintain the style. I didn’t notice any scent to this product and for me, that’s a bonus. This isn’t a large bottle, I included a picture of it next to a hairspray bottle for size comparison. But, you don’t have to use a lot and it comes in a three pack so this will last you a long time. This is a great value and this product isn’t available at my local store. Overall, you’ll have to figure out what works best for your hair and I’m sure someone who has any modicum of skill will have an easier time than I did. But, if you have short hair and need something to help hold your style in place, check this product out!
