I knew these were not going to be top drawer for the price I was paying. I got them to give to a crowd to celebrate, and figured they were going to be good enough. They were almost good enough. The product was intact because the sticks fit fairly exactly in the packaging tube which was thick and generally good quality. This is something that they could have missed, and it gets them to three stars instead of two. The sticks themselves were very dim when activated, and require systematic breaking of the inner tube to get all the segments to light not-quite evenly. Small children, all supervised, found it easier than adults, probably from hand size. The children, in particular, appreciated the effect, and the adults mostly appreciated the effect on the children more than the glow sticks themselves. It worked out, though not as intended, for that reason. Would I buy these again? Yes, but I would be more careful to level set the crowds expectations before passing them out. If you have the ability to control the light levels, and it makes sense to do so, these will effectively be closer to four stars.

We used these for a glowing bath time for my son and they work great! Theyre just as you expect glow sticks to be!

I use these glow sticks as a night light when my2 yr and 7 yr old granddaughters spend the night with me. My room is DARK - I use room darkening drapes and covers over windows, and tape over ANY electronic device with indicator lights. Most of the time one of these glow sticks works ALL night, 8-10 hours and provides just enough light that my babies can see me and each other if they wake in the night and they have no trouble finding their light switches. With the brighter colors like Yellow and Green I have cracked just one end and it was bright all night, then I was able to crack the other end of the stick the next night or even several nights later! When I ran out of glow sticks I ordered a different brand, a CHEAPER brand also from Amazon. WHAT a DIFFERENCE!!! The cheap ones are noticably dimmer after just 30 minutes! And when I tried just activating 1 end the entire stick became used and could only be used one night Ive had to activate a new stick in the middle of the night when the girls got scared of the dark - VERY annoying! So Im coming back to my original brand (this one) and I wont buy that other one again! After these arrive I am going to do a video comparison of the two brands and post it back on this review and on the review for the other product.

The sticks were very skinny but worked just fine for what we needed them for. They were pretty stiff so were hard to put together and stay put together. However, a good value for the money. I would buy them again.

Good quality, none broke. Stays lit for long enough. I’ll definitely by again for future parties.

We can have fun no matter what day or the week/holiday with these. Purchased th3se eary for Halloween and they give you so many for such a great price that we were able to make some really great memories at the end of summer! Thank you so much!
