> 24 hourI gave these to my 20 year old daughter for Christmas with water color paper and brushes. She really likes the paints. The colors are vibrant and she enjoys using them. There were so many options to pick from and Im glad that I settled on these.

> 24 hourThese paints are absolutely wonderful. The paint is creamy and incredibly vibrant, is a nice mix of warm and cool tones, and is a nice mix of transparent and opaque colors. The paint maintains lovely color even in washes and it blends well. There are not a lot of pre-mixes and not much in the way of fillers (as far as I can tell) but it is not granulating (if that’s your preference). One downfall is that the packaging does not include anything in English so you have to find opacity info online. While the pigment info is on each paint 1/2 pan, I could not read mine and had to hunt online for it. Last issue is that there does not seem to be any way to order single tubes to refill individual 1/2 pans as I run out, meaning I have to substitute in the palette with another brand or buy this palette again - not ideal. They are certainly not the best money can buy but they are absolutely lovely artist paints at a student price.

> 24 hourThe pallet doesnt close very well, at all, especially if you put the swatch sheet in it. The second row of paint from the top is a little crooked, tilting downwards towards the right. It hasnt effected how well the paints are held in place. I have no problem with that. The paints themselves are wonderful! I simply wouldnt travel with this without a rubberband or something to hold it shut.

> 24 hourThe metallic watercolors in this set are just what I was looking for when I ordered. I will be using these sparingly to add interest to subjects in my watercolor paintings and the packaging allows me to keep them separate and easy to find in my supply cart. I opened one color and tried it with great results. I can’t say all the colors will be useful but I really liked the effects of my trial experiment.

> 24 hourI absolutely love these paints by Paul Rubens! They have a slight glittery appearance but not over done. I bought the more pastels colors and now I’m searching for some primary colors. I made the first of many book markers, (made by Canson) and inserted a pretty ribbon at the top. With a drop of Fray Check, it’s securely held in place. The paints are soft and creamy and apply beautifully. I can’t say enough great things about these fantastic paints. Fun and gorgeous!

> 24 hourAmazing paints, dont bleed in most of my coloring books, but I am fussy about buying books with heavier paper....I have been having better luck with these paints than a different brand (that chips off the paper when applied thick) I love working with them, they are easy to work with in washes or heavy application. Superb iridescence. The packaging and presentation is so lovely its almost silly.

> 24 hourThis pallet is stunning! The colors are vibrant and smooth. They blend so easily and also mix well with other colors. I have another, more expensive brand name pallet, I’ll let my daughter mix up a pallet for me to see if I can actually tell which one is better. I can assure you that I probably won’t be able to tell! I’m so glad I went with the bigger set. It was definitely a great choice and I’m very interested in trying more out from this company. ~Cyndal Grant~

> 24 hourAmazing set. Have been using it for my Christmas cards. Fast melting and you don’t have to work the brush too much into the palette to get good color pay off, which is a problem that I have with other watercolors. I will probably try other items from this brand as well. Forgot to add that the case is wonder and the cloth it comes with is handy.

> 24 hour(reviewing both the metallic and regular paints in one review) So, Im SUPER not a good painter (absolute beginner so excuse my trash example photos) but I really like these paints. The pigment is wonderful, I think they blend well, and I find a little goes a long way. My skills however, need much improvement. In the regular paints, the brown tones are weaker in pigmentation for sure, but I still like them. I dont find any of the shades chalky and they mix well. In a beginners opinion of course. The metallics I dont use much, mostly just for adding some sort of highlight or fun effect onto another painting. Theyre very pretty paints.

> 24 hourOverall the Wife loved them, I got them for her as a gift. She said she loved the colors and they were nice a vivid. The only complaint she had was spending 5 min to pull each sticker off and taping them to the container lid to remember the colors sense the names on the box arent in english. Otherwise 100% Loved.
