20 pounds is plenty heavy enough to keep my 10 month old schnauzer baby from going upstairs! I can easily move it to different locations in my home to keep her safe and confined when I need to… I just add her plush cushion bedding. Much more attractive than a wire cage, and since I decided on the 4 panel instead of the 3, I can shape it in several ways. This is sooo much better than the Dr Pepper cartons I had stacked at the bottom of the stairs!!! I think we’re both going to be very pleased with this purchase!!!

Perfect to keep older dog from going up and down stairs. Added bonus, the cat will not cross it either

The gate is sturdy, well made, relatively heavy, and stays in place well. Paint is nice and thick and crisp.I ordered a set of feet because I was spanning a wide area, but really dont need them. I did use them outside on my deck for a few days, based on a review where someone said they had it on their deck. It was fine in the warm weather, but when it rained, the gate developed small cracks on the top. They are so fine they didnt ruin the gates aesthetics, but I will definitely only use them indoors going forward.

This fence is sturdy and stable, but easy to move where we need it. Has a nice finish on it, so it looks good, not cheap. Can easily be configured to the space and when folded, stands up neatly. We couldn’t be more pleased.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GATE FOR YOUR DOG. I had 2 White German Shepherds for a almost 20 years & had one similar to this one until the wood finally stopped holding the screws. I was so excited to find a new one that is even better. This one has two small rubber pads on the bottom of each panel so each panel does not move. I now have a 5 lb toy poodle & it is just PERFECT for what I need. The pressure ones are way too flimsy when you have a 58 opening. Because its heavy my fur baby cant push it open. It also looks good. The packaging was great. Each piece was protected & the entire 4 attached panels were then protected. The were put in a box with great packaging around it. I opened the box & opened the gate & started using it. No set up at all. I hope it will work as well for you as it does for me.

I bought this barrier to help confine my small-breed puppy during potty training. Since I am mobility impaired and have a weak pinch-grasp, I needed something I could be certain (by looking at it online) was easily manipulated. With its sturdy design, hinged panels that accordion into folds simply by pulling on one of the panels, and the ease by which it slides across my Berber carpet, this product fits the bill perfectly! What I didnt expect was how substantial and attractive it is in real life! Well done! There are a few pieces of information which should be underscored for prospective buyers, though. The barrier has no latch or handle, and no means of being attached to a wall or doorway. Neither does it stand on its own IF straightened flat out to its full length. If you need the full length, the ends must be tucked between heavy objects, such as furniture and walls. (I do need the full length: I have one end squeezed between the sofa and a wall, and the other end loosely tucked between a shelving unit and a dining chair. When I need to open the barrier, I just grab the loose end and pull it back into one or two folds, which stand open on their own just fine.) I do feel the online description should caution the buyer to set up the barrier in such a way that the hinges which connect the panels are not on the same side as their baby or puppy, whose fingers or paws might get caught in a hinge as you try to pull aside a panel. Finally, as sturdy as this barrier is (and it really is), it is my personal opinion that using it to confine a fully mobile toddler will be dicey unless you brace the ends between heavy objects as described above.

Love the quality! Unbelievable finish, feet to not scratch floors, nice finished curved top on each arch.

Just received and already set up in the area we wanted to gate off from the dog. It looks well made, folds easily and stands sturdy. I hope it holds up to my 5 star review! My only disappointment was in the delivery. I requested that the large package be brought to the front door. It was left at the front gate- a good 40 feet from the front door. Not a easy carry for my 97 year old mom. Even more disappointing was the carriers delivery note that it was left at the front porch or door. So so sad
