This case is really fantastic. We love that we can easily take it when we go on the road. The case is built well and is really sturdy so we feel like it protects really well. It’s really easy to take the strap off and carry the smaller case with just the console. I would buy it again if we had another console!

Picture speaks for itself. Velcro dividers make it easy to personalize storage. Hardshell body is perfect for adding pins and protecting devices. Switch fits nicely on top, and the removable Switch-specific case is attached with EXTREMELY strong velcro so it wont come apart on accident. (It is attached and securely hanging upside-down from the open lid in the photo) Theres one pocket in the lower portion and another small pocket in the Switch portion. There are only 4 slots for Switch games in the upper pocket, but theres plenty of room to store other entire game cases inside the lower portion.

PDP historically makes really solid products but this was unfortunately a miss. Let’s start with the pros. The materials and zippers are quality. The bag looks sharp. It was conceptually designed to hold everything I was looking for in a bag. Switch, games, headphones, pro controller, and a few other accessories. But that is where the positives stop. As far as the negatives go...I can’t recommend this case to anyone with a pro controller. Pro Controller The velcro strap puts a lot of stress on the pro controller’s right joystick when in it’s designated spot. I really don’t think they tested it with all the electronics in the case because the case won’t close with all of it in there. Accessory Pouch? w/ PDP Logo What I thought was a full pouch for extras actually was a bunch of wasted space. I am not really sure what this area was intended for in the first place. When pulling up the flap, it was half the size I thought it was. Case Build Simply put the case doesn’t zip closed when the Switch and pro controller are in it. There just isn’t enough depth to the case dimensions. I also feel like the inside and outside are backwards. When opening, switch logo side up, the Switch (the heaviest item in the case) is on the underside of the lid, which seems odd to me. I really wanted to love this case, but it doesn’t work as intended. It will be returned.

Overall, I think its a really handy product. The snap broke off the red snap strap the first time I unsnapped it to remove the top section from the bottom, so that was pretty annoying. I also wish there were more than 6 game cartridge slots. I didnt see anything else that would have been a better purchase though, so still glad I made the purchase.

Perfect size. Also enjoy how easy it is to stuff everything inside.

Although a bit bigger than PDPs small case, this case is large enough to not only snugly fit either a Switch or Switch Lite in a measured protected case, it is large enough to fit a single Pro controller and wiring without the bag bulging. The one tricky part is to seat the controller correctly so that it seats in a way that the velcro strap can close around it. It is way too tight around it, and I am afraid that it may damage the controller over time. Besides that, getting the Switch into its pocket is extremely easy with a snug fit. I really would recommend this as the main case if you are going to take a controller and your power cord and an HDMI cable. I think it could do with a couple of inches bigger to more comfortably hold the Pro controller but would be more or less perfect if you do not need to bring a Pro controller. With a Pro controller, you may be disappointed with the results as it certainly is a force fit rather than a comfortable one.

My kids got a switch and accessories for Christmas. I’d read the other reviews about it bulging or what not, but this definitely fits everything the kids need and allows them to take it to their dad’s house.
