Peak Gear Weekender - Black

Love this bag- first use was for a quick, overnight trip. It easily fit a change of clothes and toiletries for three people. along with some miscellaneous items. The bag fits a lot but does not feel heavy. I love the separate shoe compartment, too!

My old duffel bag was starting to rip, and the zippers kept getting jammed. Looked for a new a duffel bag, and this one got my attention because of the gray color, and it seemed like it was well made from the description and reviews. Two days later I receive the bag, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality, construction, and features of the bag. Pros: 1. Very well made, material seems very durable and tough, zippers are smooth. I cant see this ripping or falling apart. 2. It doesnt mention in description, but the material appears to be padded (kind of like the way of a laptop bag is padded to protect the laptop), which protects the contents of the bag. 3. Contains a dedicated shoe pocket, keeping any dirt on my shoes away from my clothes, and allows easy quick access. 4. Padded shoulder strap, good for those trips where Im lugging this around my shoulder for a long time. Cons: 1. Ive had it for a few days, but time will tell regarding durability. If anything changes, Ill be sure to provide an update here. However, judging by the quality of the material, I cant see anything going wrong with the bag.

Haven’t used it yet (thanks a lot Covid) but I like it. It’s made really well but it’s really light weight. Love the shoe compartment. Zippers, strap clip and handle hardware are metal and seem strong. I believe it will last a long time.

This bag is essentially everything I could ask for in a gym/travel bag. Super convenient, takes up little space and is very durable. Best travel bag I’ve purchased. Absolutely recommend to others.

4/22 UPDATE: I absolutely stand by this five star review. Peak may have the best customer service Ive ever experienced. The bag was working wonderfully again, but again, I noticed that the hook was coming loose. Because it was gradual wear and tear, I just decided to take a photo and send it to them so they could let their product team know there were issues with the hook. I told them I DID NOT want another bag or strap as it just seemed like such a small issue and design issue (instead, I was going to just pick up a strap online because the actual product is great and it would be super cheap to get one). AGAIN, they stood behind their product so much that they told me they had redesigned the strap and wanted me to give that a try and just shipped me a new strap, which, indeed, felt like it had been designed differently. This review was already a 5 star and I was never going to dock points because the actual bag itself is incredible (durable and very aesthetically pleasing) and the fact that they were so on top of the issues the first time. But I just felt like this needed to be made known. Ive never seen a company so proud of their product and have such exceptional customer service. Ill definitely be buying their products in the future and I suggest you do the same! Seems like a company with the right attitude to succeed! ORIGINAL:Hey all, first of all, this bag is gorgeous. The material is nice and thick and it just feels nice and sturdy. Unfortunately, on my second use of the bag, the shoulder strap snapped immediately at the connection point between the strap and the bag. This was pretty disappointing as Ive had a super beat up duffel from nike thats 10 years old at this point thats still held up fine. I sent a message to customer service over facebook to see if I could get a new strap, and they were incredible. They immediately took ownership of the issue, replied quickly, and rather than sending my a new strap, they sent me a new bag with two day shipping! Really happy about that. Im hoping the issue with the strap was only a defect but props for incredible customer service regardless!

I took the Weekender Duffel Bag on a 2 1/2 week trip to Europe. Its very durable and was able to easily hold all of my personal belongings. I highly recommend this bag and would definitely purchase from Peak Gear again.

Well made and heavy duty product with amazing customer support. Zippers, pockets and seams are very sturdy. I broke the strap the other month and they replaced it right away. Maybe thats one suggestion, a stronger connection of the strap to the bag.

A tad smaller then what I thought, But my son still loves it.

The bag itself is great - strong, well constructed, nice size. My problem was that mine arrived without the strap. I contacted Peak Gear requesting the missing strap. One of the owners contacted me and took care of it. Nice!
