> 3 dayWonderful Pendleton quality and a vibrant, fun design. It is durable, warm, and beautiful. Despite many peoples assumptions that it will be scratchy because it is wool, it is very soft and comforting. Blankets are very important in our blended family (native/non-native) and our children have each been gifted several. Pendleton has never let us down. We purchased this one for our second son. It is the perfect size to lay out anywhere and put down our 4 month old or to wrap him up when we head outside. I use it frequently as a carrier cover for his infant car seat. It is warm and insulating. Washing is the only concern as it is a wool blanket. Follow care instructions so you do not shrink the blanket inadvertantly. I dont plan on having any more children but if I do, they will also be getting a Pendleton blanket. *Picture is from when he was just a few weeks old and weighed about 9lbs*

> 3 dayPerfect for my son to cover with on road trips! Only dislike is that it’s constantly letting little fuzzies fly all over. Like tissue paper if that makes sense. But very happy over all

> 3 dayIve now gifted 12 Pendelton Baby Blankets. All recipients loved the art blended with comfort. Most Parents choose to utilize the blankets for decor, heirloom storage protection or most often as a comfort blanket. Greater use of the blanket results in greater material softness. The initial stiffness is simply designed in to ensure a blanket can and do last lifetimes. These are not gifts forgotten or outgrown beyond physical size of the recipient. As Cherokee and Blackfoot (Dutch) Ancestry, I am extremely paticular with Indigenous gifts. Pendelton is as close as one can come to traditionally woven Indigenous American Blankets without seeking out a newly woven or heirloom quality Blankets taking time, connections (trust - respect) and significant financial cost to obtain. Slightly less expensive blankets offer slightly less quality, durability, tensile strength....go for the best on the open Market, go with Pendelton. If youre looking for a functional heirloom quality gift you have found it. * Dry clean only ** I hope dearly Pendelton does not spin fabric only to export it for weaving, then resold as a N. American gift. The day I see a tag listing Production outside Oregon will be the day I cease my 25 year relationship with Pendelton. I personally own 8 Adult Blankets, 2 for each Season - among my collection made by Navajo ($8k), Kiowa, Cherokee, Lakota and Pima Blankets.
