> 3 dayThe listing on Amazon said there were two sponges, but there was only one. Very pricey for two, but for a single? Way overboard. I like the convenience of the sponge, and the fact that it fills the entire cartridge with no mess. But it is not worth the extra money. Back to the filter bags filled with loose carbon for me!

Greater than one weekThe Cascade 1500 is the best cannister filter Ive ever owned. These filters do a great job. I bleach mine out then soak in water with Seachem Prime.

> 3 dayI ordered this sponge for my new canister filter. Im impressed that this sponge has so much substance. It is a rough texture which should work well in the filtration system. It is thick n has rigidity to it so it wont just turn to mush when it is saturated with water.

> 3 dayThis filter fits well into my canister filter. It is easy to change the filters. I recommend using two filters.

> 3 dayBetter then any Marineland equipment. The price is a lot better too. Glad I took a risk!! Have had it for almost 2 months with zero issues and the set up was super easy.

> 3 dayWorks great. Wasnt hard at all to prime it. Filled everything up with water and turned it in. Had bubble in it so pooped one side to let air out. Got little wet but no problems. Gives good current in a 150 gallon tank also.
