I bought a pair of these years ago and they are still working great. I reserve them for fabric only. I bought this pair for my Mom and tried them. The original pair had sharp tips on them and this pair looks like the broke off a tiny bit. Not sure if thats a flaw or if they did that to help reduce injuries as the first pair is extremely sharp pointed but they cut all the way to the tip so it doesnt take away from anything. I have large hands and they are very comfortable

Karen Kay Buckley scissors are always sharp, right to the point. They are lightweight and easy to hold. That is particularly helpful with my neuropathy. I have several pairs in different sizes.

I liked these when I got them, although they were a bit nicked and sharp on the outer edges of the blades. I am a professional theatrical seamstress, I needed shears that would be easy to use on single layers of fabrics, but I dropped them once at work and they were virtually ruined. The tips are now burred and the blades are now nicked, making them nasty to use. I used a fine, soft nail filing board to try to help with that, but that was not enough. I still use them, but they are not very nice to use any more. What a shame.

The scissor cap (that you put at the end of the blades) was missing and the plastic thing that holds the scissors on the cardboard was messed up. Im sending them back because from reading some of the reviews it appears this happens often.
