I love the game of nerts and thought this game might be a waste of money since it is similar. However, Im really glad I got it because I actually like it better than nerts. Gameplay is slightly different, and then theres a twist in scoring too. I find the numbers are so much easier to see since they arent regular playing cards, and that it makes it more enjoyable to play. I highly recommend it.

I have some fond memories of my grandparents and games from my childhood - mostly revolving around the game Dutch Blitz. I never was very good at Dutch Blitz, but I was always up for a game. The reason - my grandfather was an absolute maniac at the game. He played faster than I ever saw anyone else played, bullied the other players into playing cards from their stacks, shouted the entire game, and cheated whenever possible. Most games ended with my grandmother throwing her cards at him, and the rest of the family rolling on the floor with uncontrollable laughter. Years later, I played Dutch Blitz again with a stodgy group of college students, but it didnt have the same zing. Then, while at Origins 2004, I came across a game called Perpetual Commotion. (Goldbrick Games, 2003 - designer uncredited). They invited me in for a demo game, and after dealing out the first cards - they told me that I was probably going to lose. Humph - I wasnt too particularly pleased to hear that - but then I almost won.

Love, Love, Love this game!! We play this game all the time with out teenage kids and we love it. It is very fast paced, so the kids dont get bored and love beating us. (Which happens often). We have bought 2 different extender packs so we can play with more people. I would highly recommend this game!!

This game is the most fun Ive had in a long time! I bought it as a gift for my nephews and nieces when we went to visit their family; we ended up playing it with them every night! Its fast moving and competitive, and great fun to see adults and kids alike get into the action. Highly recommend!
