Personal Historian Software

This program has some nice features for organizing ones personal history and story. The lists of events, music and other important happenings by date is extremely useful for establishing the time period when a personal life event took place. The program is worth the price for helping you to organize your thoughts when you write your personal memoir.

I didnt buy this program here on Amazon, but got it years ago. I enjoy writing and I had been keeping logs in it for a long time, then the program started acting funny so I began to put my work into word documents before copying the stories to this program. I did like the format with the timeline and all.

l loaded the software, but i was looking for a journal, and some kind of timeline, like when i could pinpoint where i lived, and when. i found it lacking, sorry.

The software is good for logging your topics or thoughts until you have time to elaborate. But it seems to be a very simple software and Im not sure the price tag is worth it.

Its just what I was looking for. so much great information that every genealogist needs in their library.

Bought this for my 81 year old husband. It jogs his memory to write down for his family the exciting life he has led.It is easy to huge and recommend it to anyone who wants to journal their life or a family member

This lets me organize the info I put together,it is stored in one place.

This software is buggy. I could not get help or even an acknowledgement that my problem had a fix or not, now or in the future. No replies to emails. Terrible, terrible service from phone. Both representatives I talked with would not let me finish sentences, talking over me, even when I tried to give a compliment. Perhaps they get many calls from unhappy customers. It is unfortunate because this software has promise, especially for those who are less computer literate.

I like this software, but one has to be careful with it. When I tried to fix a problem--I eventually solved the problem--I accidentally lost some content. Fortunately, there is a way to get that content back--Use backup--and I was able to recover all of it.
