What a disappointment. First this thing is cedar not hickory. It has bends and curves which isn’t a deal breaker however the Diameter of the business end is a scant 1”. Much to wimpy. The handle is About 5/8”. Not large enough grip for a man. Maybe better for a child or woman’s hand. Even the leather lanyard is child size. Totally misrepresented Save your dough!

Very cool gift for the guy that has everything !!

From the pictures and description, I thought this would serve as a safety device. It was shorter than described and the 2 diameter was more like 2 circumference. It is a great fish-wacker and is in the tackle box for that purpose.

Very durable.. Nice finish and look for a tire thumper. Or as we call it noggin knocker because my husband being a truck driver anyone messing around his loads or messing with him will get thumped with the tire thumper. But all things aside its very well made and worth every cent.

I like this and it is very hard and strong ...I wish it was 2 or 3 inches longer though. otherwise great.

This is handy to have near your front door in case any Antifafish show up with a bad attitude. It works as a fish whacker too.

The wood and finish is nice. Very short and would be little help in a real personal security situation.

I bought this for my Father in-law to carry when he walks his dog at night or early in the morning. We live in NJ and we have coyotes. He also sees loose dogs once in a while. He used to carry a broom stick when he walked the dog. This is much thicker and very sturdy. He puts this in his pocket and pulls his shirt over it. I bought this because one night while holding the broom stick a cop stopped him and gave him a hard time.

Feels good in the hand. Nice weight and balance. Looks great. Nice craftsmanship.
