> 3 dayIve learned to always look for Amazons Choice products, as they convey value and quality to the average consumer. They may not be the absolute best item in a given category, but they wont break the bank, either. Theses umbrellas just blew me away with their heft, quality and precision. The 10 rib design and compact size defy logic. I have never been more impressed by an Amazons Choice product! Buy them, lbow, you wont regret it.

> 3 dayPurchased last minute for our European trip. These are durable strong umbrellas and I appreciate the sleeves they come in. The up/down buttons stick a bit but maybe just because they are new. Biggest issue is they are so heavy! I don’t think I’ve ever noticed the weight of any other umbrellas until we received these. I mean HEAVY. To the point I took them out of my day pack while traveling and decided I’d rather take a raincoat and get wet. If they are not being used in a daily bag or put in luggage (weight put you over the limit!), they are fine.

> 3 dayI live in a mostly sunny area and bought these umbrellas for the few rainy days we have each year. After maybe a half-dozen uses both of these umbrellas broke. One at the handle, and the other at the arms. Look elsewhere, as youll end up being caught in the rain without a functional umbrella and have to buy a different one anyway.

Greater than one weekThese are the sturdiest, most well-made umbrellas Ive ever seen for the price, and if I lived somewhere with more extreme weather I would have kept these in spite of a couple of issues for me: they are bigger and heavier than I want to deal with, and they are difficult for me (a senior) to close. The automatic spring opener is very strong/tight, so they open with a great deal of force and close about 2/3 of the way at the push of a button, but it takes some strength to close it the rest of the way by hand. If I were like my grandsons, who walk to school and work in difficult weather during parts of the year, this would be the umbrella for me--but its a bit too heavy-duty for their grandma! Quick and easy return.
