> 3 dayI used these bearings to construct a low-cost rail cart from standard 1 tubing and a palette, and flanged wheels I bought on ebay. As others have observed, there are many different concepts of what an inch is, and 1 pipes or tubes will not fit through these bearings. The 1 bore of the wheels on the other hand was a bit too wide, so I couldnt machine the tubes. I asked a local metal shop to machine the bearings instead. This was a bit more work than what the guy initially quoted but worked well in the end and all 4 bearings sit nicely on standard tubes now.

> 3 dayReally beefy base. Had to modify a little to fit properly, but certainly still rugged,

> 3 dayPGN - UCP205-16 Pillow Block Mounted Ball Bearing - 1 Bore Great Bearings, Excellent price, I used these 1 bearings to attach a 12 foot gate to the framing of my shop to keep my explorer dog from exploring. ( also keeps his furry friends out ! I used 3/4 ID. Black Iron pipe for the shafts, turned down to 1 OD, works great. The gate sections are fence sections that I purchased from HFT many years ago work great for larger dogs maybe not so good for smaller and pups. First gate I built I used PGN - UCP206-20 Pillow Block Mounted Ball Bearing - 1-1/4 bore, I used these to attach 2 - 7 foot gates to the framing of my shop for a 14 foot span, Didnt need bearings this heavy, went to the smaller bearings.
