I bought a chinese product 2 x they did not work, this one at least is working. It is an expensive lamp for what it is.

Used in Shortwave Ultraviolet light.

These bulbs make our home a very pure air home. Nothing living in the air can survive exposure to the UV-C bulb. Installed in the discharge duct of the furnace air handler. Keeps the AC A coil mold and mildew free.

Ive owned two and am ordering my third today. These keep our pond clear for about two years before it gets green again. Thats more than the 10,000 hours many of these type of bulbs claim.
