Hue lights are amazing. A lot better then the wink ones I had.

I placed these in my kitchen and they work great. I change the colors depending on my mood and what I am doing. hooking them into homekit was a breeze though I use the Hue app most of the time for changing colors and setting moods. I typically put them on energize setting in the Hue app when I am in the kitchen working and they provide more than enough light.

The cost of these things is ridiculous. For what they do, its not worth it and I felt stupid and ripped off after playing with these after a few days. Between the silly app & extra cost of the problematic hub I returned everything and went with one of bulbs from Nexlux. Does the same exact thing without the hub or massively inflated cost of the Philips bulbs. Ask yourself this, What will you do when they stop supporting the hub down the road and require you to upgrade to a different device & bulbs or some crap like that? Companies have pulled this before.... The cheaper ones have been working fine and if they stop supporting them Im only out 10 bucks per bulb as opposed to almost $45 per bulb plus the hub. No thanks Philips.

This is a fun product. I wouldn’t rely on it for my whole home but it makes great accent lighting.

I ordered 2 of these bulbs. One was without a serial number to hook up to the Phillips hub. I need a replacement for this.

But is *MUCH* brighter than I expected and need.

Works just like any other hue color bulb.
